Woosh! [09 Jul 2005|06:01pm]
So July is here. And 1/3 over already. My how it goes. Just got back last Monday from the Biofutures conference in Brisbane. Great people and great fun! I'm in the process of writing up all about it over at smallwalls and those interested should head over there to read!

Oh hi [04 May 2005|12:22am]
It's may 4th. Time really does fly. I'm coming home in 16 weeks. Hopefully I'll manage to get one or two more messages to all you LJ people out before then, but in general anything on here by me lacks substance. I should go to bed now, I have to work on adhesion assays for my masters project tomorrow.

mmmm Pi [14 Mar 2005|11:28pm]
Today is a yummy day. Normally I would celebrate it with baking, but seeing as it was in the low 90's today I just didn't want to use the oven for more than the delicious chicken parm I made. And anyone interested in pictures should check out duck soup endeavors, where I will be posting as many random photos as I desire now. There are also links to brand new full galleries on the left side. See what the fuss about Tasmania is all about!

Its been a while... [12 Feb 2005|11:04pm]
In the time it takes for you to move from my last entry to this one, I've traveled something close to 25,000 miles. From Australia to the states, travel within and then back to Australia again, along with my Tasmania trip here. Apologies to anyone who I didn't get a chance to see when at home. Buffalo ended up being busier then expected and I had almost no free time. Next time I am there though, we're all going out to a big LJ reunion (is it a reunion if you've never really met?). Anyway, I'm back in Australia, and just got a new apartment today. Now just 3 days till 1 complete year since I left New Jersey. The time has just flown by, and I'll be back home in 6 months.

Onward to buffalo [19 Oct 2004|11:05pm]
Since most of the people I know who live/have lived in the greater buffalo region are on here I figured I'd post here about my upcoming trip. From December 5th till the 10th I will be in Buffalo. I know this is a Sunday to Friday, meaning those at school in places far off probably won't be there, but if by chance anyone is around and wants to meet for a meal, a party, or just about anything else let me know. I'll be staying with a former roomate whos now at med school at U. Buff. Also, any suggestions on things to do while I'm there would be much appreciated. I was thinking about maybe going to Toronto from the 6th to the 7th as John, my old flatmate, has an exam on Wed. and I thought I'd give him some peace and quiet to study by, but any other suggestions are definitely acceptable. So I guess I'll maybe see some of you soon! (and for the first time :))

I finally actually uploaded an icon here. Actually, its swiped from my avatar on thedaddy.org forum, but hopefully they won't mind me putting it out there for the world to see.

Er, I mean Happy Birthday to the person who lives in the same town as gobbler's knob and the groundhog. So happy birthday Colby!

Another day, another entry [10 Aug 2004|01:13am]
My LJ list is slowly growing, even though my use of this site is almost exclusively on the read side. The write side takes place elsewhere, as you all must know by now. So, hi to the new friends, hi to the old friends and hi to the people who aren't yet friends.

July [02 Jul 2004|12:26am]
Hey, its July! Last final in 8 hours for the first semester than 3 weeks off. Still figuring out what I'll be doing over the break, but hopefully I can find a job somewhere and get working. That would be a good thing. Yea, I don't post here often as you can tell, so go see my real site, as listed 16 times on this page already. Go on, read my life stories.

Its me [26 Apr 2004|06:28pm]
Its been a while, but Im still here, still getting my masters in biomedical engineering and still not updating this much cause I would feel redundant posting the same things in each of my 6 journalesque things on here. Between xanga, lj, dj, and smallwalls (as well as random others that I have signed up with previously and havent checked in ages) I have lots of places to post, and all too often not enough to say (well not really, but more like not enough time to say it)

Aussie Me [10 Mar 2004|12:46pm]
I, Andrew Lange (linked solely for googlesque purposes), am now in Australia. Far far away from home in New Jersey. But you probably know that already. If you've been reading my other (updated with a higher frequency than this one) journal located at Smallwalls.com. So go there, read about my trip and my adventures on buses. And have a good time.

Hydarated Salts [13 Jan 2004|11:12pm]
Wouldn't it be nice if more than one person listed hydrated salts as one of their interests? There just aren't enough organic chemists out there on LJ.

Personal Appointments [02 Oct 2003|12:44am]
As I commented on Kath's, its good to set aside time for yourself to do stuff. So for my last day home before I leave for Cali for two weeks, I need to get over and do grad school reasearch stuff and figure out where I might want to be in the US if Australia doesn't work out. Then I need to finish packing, and also really finish unpacking my heavier clothing cause its that time of year again. Ok, I think thats a good goal for tomorrow. I'll get right on it.

Male words [20 Sep 2003|03:31pm]
Think male words. Buff, strong, built are those manly enough? How many do i need to overcome the 60-40 female sounding word gap currently present in my recent updates...
